The Catholic Parish of ÆßÐDzʿª½±ÀúÊ· is part of the Ryde Deanery within theÌý

It is a relatively small parish taking in parts of Eastwood, Denistone, Denistone East, West Ryde and Ryde and was formed initially in this area with the idea of having a priest nearby to act as Chaplain for the Ryde Hospital. To this very day the priests at ÆßÐDzʿª½±ÀúÊ· still visit the hospital on a weekly basis ministering to the sick and restoring many to the sacraments of the church.

The land where the parish school is currently situated (across the street from the Church) was purchased in 1938 upon which a house was built and used as The Chapel of the Little Flower for 10 years, with a priest visiting for Mass every Sunday. The Parish was established on the 11 December 1948 and from February 1949 the Blessed Eucharist came to reside in the tabernacle. The Chapel of the little Flower was then officially renamed to the Church of ÆßÐDzʿª½±ÀúÊ·.

The Parish Office is located in the presbytery at 8 Inkerman Road, Denistone and is staffed from Tuesday to Fridays from 9am to 3pm.

The patroness of our parish, ÆßÐDzʿª½±ÀúÊ· of Lisieux, said “What matters is doing ordinary everyday acts in an extraordinary way” – that is imbued with a deep love of God.
